Providing a Safe Environment in the Workplace

Our Safety Practices

J.L. Minter Electrical Contractor, Inc.  is committed to providing a safe environment in the workplace along with abiding by all regulations as they pertain to our “industry” which are set forth in federal, state and local standards; and good practice as dictated by locations and circumstances. Each of our employees are required to participate in an on-line safety training program pertinent to our industry on a monthly basis and expected to strictly adhere to our written safety policy on a daily basis.

Each of our work trucks is equipped with a Fire Extinguisher, Emergency First Aid supplies as well as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Each journeyman and most apprentices are trained in First Aid and CPR.

We constantly evaluate and implement new programs and training strategies in an effort to eliminate occupational injuries.
